Directions to Trailhead: From I-25 in Denver, take University north almost to First Street. Just before First, you will see a large parking lot next to "Bed Bath & Beyond." Park here, and join the trail on the south side of the parking lot next to cherry creek. Going west will take you towards downtown. Going east will take you towards the Cherry Creek Reservoir.
About This Trail: The Cherry Creek Trail is a great way to spend an afternoon without having to drive far. Many people use this trail to ride bikes, rollerblade, dog walk, stroll, etc. From this trail, you can connect with the complete Denver bike path system. Mostly, the path follows Cherry Creek all the way from Cherry Creek Reservoir to downtown Denver.
