Directions to Trailhead: From the Highway 8/Highway 73 intersection in Evergreen, take 73 south to Buffalo Park Road. Take a right, and follow the road past the high school. Within a mile after the high school, you will be at Alderfer's east parking lot. If you continue another 1/2 mile, you will be at the west parking lot.
