Route Description: A beautiful ride through Glenwood canyon on a wide paved trail that parallels the CO river. To
start, follow 6th street east until it ends in the Spa and Vapor Caves parking lot. Continue east through the narrow parking lot to the trail. I saw no sign that said the trail was there, though the trail is obvious at the east end of the parking lot. I-70 is quite close seperated by a barrier for the first quarter mile or so until a chainlink tunnel leads over I-70 to paved trail and sections of older paved roads. It passes Hanging Lake and ends in Dotsero. Due to traveling constraints, I was only able to log the start at Glenwood Springs. There were several bike shops and bike rentals were advertised.
